Awards Committee

  • Maintains, monitors, and evaluates the process used to select awardees and to present the awards
  • Promotes the importance of the awards and invites nominations through various sources and means
  • Reviews applications submitted and presents recommendations of awards to the board of directors
  • Gathers biographical information on award recipients and assist with award presentations
  • Recommends the establishment of additional awards to the board, if appropriate.

Structure

The committee is composed of three members, each serving a term of three years. Terms are staggered with a new member selected by the Committee and appointed by the AIC Board every year, with the third-year member serving as Chair.
