Carolyn Horton Scholarship

Eligible applicants: current members of AIC Book and Paper Group

Purpose: Continuing education and research including attendance at meetings, seminars, workshops, or to conduct research or special project.

Award amounts: Typically $500 to $1,000

Application deadline: February 1 of each year

Applicants will automatically be considered for awards from both the Christa Gaehde Fund and the Carolyn Horton Fund.

Christa Gaehde Scholarship

Eligible applicants: current members of AIC

Purpose: Professional development events or other activities that support the study and research in conservation of art on paper. Projects may involve individual study, attendance at workshops, conferences, or other events, purchase of materials for research projects, or other activities in keeping with this goal.

Award amounts: Typically $500 to $1,000

Application deadline: February 1 of each year
Applicants will automatically be considered for awards from both the Christa Gaehde Fund and the Carolyn Horton Fund.

George Stout Scholarship

Eligible applicants: current student and recent postgraduate members (within two years) of AIC

Purpose: Supports students and those who have graduated in the past two years to attend professional meetings. Funds can be used to defray costs for registration and travel expenses.

Award amounts: up to $1,000

Application deadline: December 15 of each year
