Research and Technical Studies Postprints

Our postprints consist of annotated presentations, extended abstracts, or abstracts of papers presented at the Research and Technical Studies Session at AIC's Annual Meeting. We invite Joint Session presenters to submit to the postprints as well.

We edit papers in this publication for clarity and content, but we do not subject them to a formal peer review process. Responsibility for methods and/or materials described herein rests solely with the contributors and should not be considered official statements of our organization.

Submissions Information

The Research and Technical Studies Postprints is a non-juried publication. A committee selects papers presented at the group's session at the AIC's Annual Meeting based on abstracts. After presentation, authors have the opportunity to revise their annotated presentations or consolidate them into an extended abstract before submitting them for publication. There is no further selection or review of these papers. Authors are responsible for the content and accuracy of their submissions and the methods and materials they present. We publish the original abstracts distributed at the meeting if the authors do not submit either their annotated presentations, extended abstracts or revised abstracts.

Copyright and Permissions

Authors retain copyright for all materials submitted to the Research and Technical Studies Postprints and are free to publish verbatim or in revised form elsewhere. Articles are made accessible digitally for purposes of education and research. Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish from photographers, illustrators, copyright holders, or owners of objects described in each article and to provide appropriate credits.
